Lucent Lighting’s Mix range, which has been designed in line with circular economy principles, has won a Build Back Better GREEN Award in the 2025 lighting category.
The series – which encompasses both the Mix85 and the smaller Mix60 – minimises waste and maximises reusability.
It features multiple trim and trimless kits and interchangeable front plates, and is manufactured using 89 per cent recycled materials, with 99 per cent of its components fully recyclable.
The embodied carbon of the Mix85 is 6 kgCO2e while the Mix60 is just 3 kgCO2e. The circularity rating of the Mix85 is TM66 2.5 ‘excellent’ and the Mix60 is also ‘excellent’ at TM66 2.5.
From first fix to future servicing, Mix has been engineered for ease of installation and long-term practicality. Both Mix85 and Mix60 feature tool-less installation and focusing, as well as quick-release, screw-in LED engines for rapid maintenance.
Multiple installation kits ensure compatibility with all ceiling conditions, including plaster trimless, partial skim trimless, wood, stone and plasterboard. Whether it’s classic white or black, a custom RAL, or one of five plated options Mix offers flexibility for lighting designers, architects and specifiers.
The result is a range that supports rapid project delivery and cost-effective ongoing maintenance.
With a fully adjustable design offering 30 degree tilt and 359 degree rotation, Mix delivers targeted illumination where it's needed.
The Mix range delivers up to 1775lm with efficiencies of up to 133 lumens per watt, Mix85 exceeds Part L2 compliance while providing exceptional visual comfort and beam control.
The range is compatible with the company’s extensive module family, including Quantum, Ambiance WarmDim, Dynamic White, SuperSpot, LED50 One Gen3, and Shallow Height, delivering adaptability across multiple sectors and application areas.
